LLEA Scholarship Shared in google classroom. Lincolnview Only Scholarship!  Two parts, due May 2nd.

Career Connections Scholarship One Lincolnview student will win $500.  Based mostly off of Essay prompt. Shared in Google Classroom. DEADLINE to Mrs. Leeth April 28th. 

Optimist Scholarship This is a service Award Scholarship. You must track and log a minimum of 100
hours from May to May. Shared on google classroom DEADLINE: May 6th to Mrs. Leeth

PLC Trina Langdon Scholarship  One Lincolnview girl will win $500, you must have taken part of PINK in JH.  Shared in Google classroom. DEADLINE: April 25th.

Bowen Honorary Scholarship Shared in Google Classroom. This scholarship was created to honor Franklin and Cheryl Bowen,
lifelong residents of Van Wert County. Although never having the opportunity to attend college
themselves, Mr. and Mrs. Bowen believe strongly in education and helping to provide access to
higher education to those who are interested in pursuing it. $500 will be awarded to one student. Due to Mrs. Leeth April 26th. 

Jeff Evans Memorial Scholarship The mission of the Jeffrey S. Evans Agricultural Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to individuals planning to attend academic, vocational, or technical school after graduation or assistance to those who are pursuing a career in farming after graduation without further education. Special consideration may be given to those who plan to return to the Van Wert County area and whose area of study would benefit the Van Wert County agricultural community.  DEADLINE to Mrs. Leeth: April 22.

AMVETS Scholarship  This is a Lincolnview only scholarship. Two will win $500.Students must submit a minimum of a 1-page pager on the topic of "What a veteran means to me."  Please include the name/s of any direct family members or people that are veterans who have impacted your life with their branch service and service dates.  The paper will need to be 12 font size, Calibri or Times New Roman font and single spaced. Mail to ATTN: Scholarship Fund, 102 S. Adams Street, Middle Point, OH  45863  or hand deliver to the Amvets between the hours of 4:00-6:00 in an envelope.  DEADLINE:  April 23rd.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hagan Scholarship Foundation  This is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship designed to help rural students graduate college debt free.  Go to www.hsfmo.org for an application.  DEADLINE: Dec. 1st.

Big Sun Scholarship Annual scholarship of $500 to a deserving student athlete. Go to http://www.bigsunathletics.com to learn how to apply. DEADLINE: June 19, 2022

William D. Squires Scholarships 20 scholarships will be offered based on financial need. the student's EFC from FAFSA must be less than 7,000 to apply. Minimum 3.2 GPA. www.wmdsquiresfoundation.org 

B Davis Scholarship   $1,000 for an essay on the topic:  Describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most.  Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel that they are developed in an individual.  http://www.studentawardsearch.com/scholarships.htm  

Scholarship Foundation This is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship. The scholarship is designed to help recipients graduate college debt free. Recipients must graduate from a public HS located in a county in the US having fewer than 50,000 residents. It provides up to $6,000 each semester for up to 8 semesters.  Go to www.hsfmo.org for information.

OMACCS Scholarship LEADS Scholarship This is for students going to career colleges. 185 scholarship awarded ranging from $500 to $8,000. Go to www.omaccs.org under the scholarship link. 

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program They will be awarding up to $1,000 to the winner(s) this year.  It is an essay competition. Go to http://www.abbottandfenner.com/scholarships.htm for more details. 

Ohio News Media foundation Scholarship This non-profit foundation offers a $1,500 scholarship for minority HS seniors in Ohio who plan to major in a field relevant to the newspaper industry, particularly jounralism, advertising, marketing, or communications degree programs at an accredited college or university with the US.
