Interested in the field of Construction? 
West Central Ohio Laborers' Apprenticeship Program. The program runs three years with a minimum of 4,000 hours of diversified work and on the job training in the areas of construction. You could build and repair roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels; construct residential and commercial buildings; clean up hazardous waste sites; or perform other kinds of work.

Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age, have valid drivers license or State ID, physically able to perform the work of trade, High School Diploma or GED, and must pass a drug test.

Are you looking for an Apprentice Program?  There are over 1000 occupations that you can start through an apprenticeship program. They range from a carpenter to a locksmith. To find registered apprenticeship sponsors go to http://jfs.ohio.gov/apprenticeship and click on "finding a registered apprenticeship program" or you can go to www.local18training.com for operating engineer training.

Manufacturing Career Pathways Program through West Central Ohio Manufacturing Consortium:
This group is interested in improving the manufacturing workforce in West Central Ohio. They have developed a Manufacturing Pathways Certification Program that preares current and potential employees for tomorrow's manufacturing. WCOMC Certification brings to you: referrals to jobs with good-paying employers, documentation of your increased skills training, college credit for Basic and Intermediate certification, which can speed your progress to degree achievement.
