Believing that wellness is a priority for classroom success, the Lincolnview Local School District provides students with access to a full time Health Care Coordinator. The Health Care Coordinator serves a pivotal role that bridges health care and education. Services provided by the Health Care Coordinator include student care, leadership, coordination of services, quality improvement, and comprehensive wellness programming.
To insure the safety of all students, prescription and over the counter medications must be brought to school by a parent or legal guardian. Do not send any medications with your child to school. All medications must be submitted to the school clinic where the Health Coordinator will store them in a securely locked cabinet. Controlled medications will be counted in the presence of the parent or legal guardian who delivers the medication to the Health Coordinator.
All medications, whether prescription or over the counter, must be accompanied by the appropriate and completed authorization forms. Authorizations for prescription medicines to be taken at school must be signed by the prescribing physician. Forms are located on the right side of this page, in the elementary office or the health clinic.
