The Lincolnview Local Schools would like to inform Lincolnview parents and the Lincolnview community that there has been a small change in obtaining a substitute teaching license. Due to the recent passage of House Bill 409, for the reminder of 2020-21 school year ONLY, a bachelor’s degree is no longer required to have in order to serve as a substitute teacher in the Lincolnview Local Schools system. If you are interested in acquiring about this “Temporary Substitute License,” please call the Western Buckeye Educational Service Center at (419)-399-4711 for more information and to receive directions on how to apply to Ohio Department of Education for the substitute license.
Requirements for this Temporary Substitute Teaching License include:
- High School Diploma or Proof of Graduation of a GED Equivalence
- Background check (FBI & CBI) – through Western Buckeye ESC office
- Acquire a temporary substitute teaching license from the Ohio Department of Education
