LINCOLNVIEW CAFETERIA – “Food Service Update” – UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE EXTENDS “FREE” MEALS FOR KIDS:

Lincolnview Local Schools will “NOW” be offering a free meal during our regular breakfast and lunch serving times to all Lincolnview students starting Monday, Sep. 14th through Tuesday, Dec. 22nd. We are able to offer this service because the USDA is extending waivers from this past spring when schools were closed because of the Covid-19 Pandemic.  This new program will allow the Lincolnview Local Schools to serve free nutritious meals to all children into the fall/winter months.  This unprecedented move from the USDA will help ensure all children have access to nutritious food as the country recovers from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Important information:

*Grades 6-12 will still need to have money on their accounts to purchase extras or ala carte items or milk only.

*Grades K-5 will still need to have money on their accounts to purchase a milk only.

*Our NOVA students are also able to receive the free meals by picking up at Lincolnview H.S. on a certain day and at a certain time (TBA).  An email will be sent out with the details soon regarding this.
