Principal's Message

Mr. Brad Mendenhall

Brad Mendenhall
Jr./Sr. High Principal

Dear parent/guardian of Lincolnview Students:

Thank you for looking at our new website.  My goal is to quarterly update this letter with information and important dates you may need as a parent of a Lincolnview student.

Grade cards for 7-12 are available in the HS office from 8:00-3:00 PM.  Please review the grade card for your student and contact the high school office if you have any issues.

On August 2, Mr. Leeth will be holding the required OHSAA meeting at 6:30.  All fall sports athletes in grades 7-12 with a parent representative are required to attend.  As a reminder for eligibility, I have included a summary of eligibility for sports at Lincolnview.

Students wishing to participate in athletics in the fall must be passing a minimum of five (5) units of credit during the 4th grading period and have a minimum 1.25 GPA in order to participate in the 1st 9 weeks next school year. Eligibility is not determined by the final course grade for the year, but rather by the grade earned during the 4th grading period. Students must pass five (5) credits during the 4th grading period to be eligible for athletic during the 1st grading period the of the 2018-19 school year. If you have questions, please call the Lincolnview Athletic office.

Research and experience tell us that participation and involvement in school activities is a key to student success. We sincerely hope that you will sit down with your student and discuss how they might become more involved in the multitude of school activities as well as determining their academic goals for the new school year.

All 7-12 academic schedules for 2018-2019 will be available in the JH/HS office in August.  A district text message will be sent out to communicate exact times as the date approaches.  Also, our annual K-12 Open House will be held on August 16 at 6:00 P.M.  This is an excellent time to walk your schedule, get into your locker and see your friends!  Plan on being with us on August 16.  The first day of school will be held on Monday, August 20.

Our best wishes are extended for a safe and enjoyable summer for you and your family. The summer break is a wonderful time to rest, recharge, and also to prepare for the next school year. Enjoy this opportunity, and we look forward to next year. Go Lancers!
