Attention Jr. High Softball players – practice starts today, Monday, March 6th from 3:30-5:30. Players be sure to bring attire for both indoor and outdoor practice. Meet in the Elementary gym. 

Congressman Robert Latta will be hosting an academy information night on Tuesday, March 14 at St. John’s Jesuit High School and Academy in Toledo.  If you are interested in one of the United States Service Academy’s then you should plan to attend. They will provide you with an overview of the selection process.  Representatives from four academies will be there to talk about the opportunities at their institution. 

 Are you interested in learning Chinese or Russian?  If so listen to this opportunity.  Kent State is offering a FREE summer program which includes the program, technology, room and board and tuition.  You can receive up to 4 college credits.  It runs from June 18th – July 15th.  It is open to current sophomores and juniors.  See the flyer in the hallway for the email address or check out opportunities to grow on the guidance page of the website.  

The Marsh Foundation will be hiring Summer Help for the Maintenance Department.  The job will be starting in April/May of 2017 ending in September 2017.  If you are interested, please see Mr. Mendenhall for more details. 

Yearbook applications are now available in the high school office or from Mrs. Ringwald.  Please fill it out and turn in with your scheduling papers. 

Luke Bullinger went 1- 2 in districts finishing his season 21-13 Congratulation on a great season.

Congratulations to the High School Choir for competing at the District OMEA Competition this past Saturday and receiving all superior ratings!  They will be competing in the OMEA State Competition.

JH Student Council needs to meet in Mrs. Schnipke’s room BEFORE going to lunch for a picture, please. 

Attention boys and girls ages 5 through 15 interested playing summer ball at the Middle Point Ball park, There are forms in the high school office. Opening Day will be Sat. May 13th.  

The Marsh Foundation will be hiring Summer Help for the Maintenance Department.  The job will be starting in April/May of 2017 ending in September 2017.  If you are interested, please see Mr. Mendenhall for more details.

Any athlete grades 8 - 11 interested in playing boys varsity soccer next season needs to attend a mandatory meeting Friday March 3rd during lancer time. Also any 7th grade boy interested in playing as a freshman are invited to attend as well.

Friday is the deadline to register for the April ACT. 

Yearbook applications are now available in the high school office or from Mrs. Ringwald.  Please fill it out and turn in with your scheduling papers. 

There will be a Science Club meeting today during Lancer Time in Mr. Byrum’s room. 

There will be a meeting today in the lecture hall at 10:35 for 8th grade girls who plan to play volleyball next season. There will also be a meeting in the lecture hall at the beginning of Lancer Time for girls in grades 9-11 who are playing volleyball next fall. 

Congratulations to Carter Tow he has qualified for the Indoor State Track Meet at Akron University this weekend. He will running in the 1600 meter and the 3200 meter.

Mrs. Leeth is going to be starting scheduling for next school year.  The sophomores will meet today  and the Freshman on Monday.  If you are absent and miss the presentation, please see Mrs. Leeth to get the information.
