Seniors: It is time to begin submitting photos for inclusion in the yearbook. Please turn in 1 baby photo and 1 senior photo to any yearbook staff member or the office. Please get this taken care of now before things get too hectic for you in May.
Attention all students in grades 8-12. Today Wednesday, March 29th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Vantage Career Center is hosting an Employer and Student Connection. Areas businesses will be on hand to talk to you and your parents about potential careers. There will be three break out session for Health Careers, Business Careers and Manufacturing Careers. Plan to attend this free event to learn about job opportunities.
You are reminded that you may not park in the first two rows of parking in the parking lot. These spaces are reserved for staff parking.
Junior high students are reminded that they are not permitted to enter the elementary gym locker rooms during the school day. Students are not to use the elementary locker rooms as a personal storage area. If you have baseball/softball equipment that needs stored during the day, please see Mr. Leeth.
Are you interested in Forestry or Wildlife Conservation? If so, there is a summer camp for you. June 11-16 you can attend a camp near Carrollton, Ohio. It is open to students entering their freshman year through senior year. If this sounds interesting to you, go to the guidance page of the website and then click opportunities to grow.
The Van Wert Rotary Club will sponsor students to attend a World Community Workshop titled "New Zealand: Fire and Ice" on Thursday, May 112017 - Saturday, May 13, 2017. It will be free of charge,
Join students from all over the world for a three-day event as you explore and learn about the history and culture of New Zealand. An island in the southwest Pacific Ocean consisting of two main islands made up of fire and ice and has three times as many cows as people. Workshop participants spend three days and two nights on the campus of Defiance College, interacting with DC faculty, staff, and students. IF interested, see Mrs. Leeth asap.
Attention Students: Soon we will be taking End of Course tests. We want you to do your best on these tests and make sure testing days run smoothly. Please do you part by accomplishing the following things:
- Be here! Attendance is always important, but especially during the testing schedules. It is much easier to take and administer the exams one time, rather than multiple times!
- Make sure your Chromebook is charged, properly logged in to our network, and working well. If your Chromebook is not working you need to see Mr. Miglin immediately to fix the problem.
Beta and NHS Students in need of service hours can help fill eggs this Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m. at Tracey’s Auction barn just across from the hospital. They will go until 4:00 or until all 15,000 eggs are filled. Be sure to take an outside hours form with you to be signed. You can go anytime between 10 and 4.
