Junior class dues are $25.00 and are to be paid to Adia Welch. Please try to get them in as soon as possible. 

Seniors – It is time to begin submitting your baby photo and senior photo for inclusion in the yearbook. Please turn in photos to Allison Warnement or Mrs. Ringwald by May 11th. Photos will be returned to you at graduation practice.   

Testing season is approaching!  We will again be using our Chromebooks for the Spring State Tests.  If you have any issues with your Chromebook, you need to see Mr. Miglin as soon as possible to get it fixed.  You are responsible for making sure your Chromebook is in good, working order when it is time to test. 

Juniors who signed up for the CEO Program for next year, there will be a meeting at Lancer Time on April the 12th with Mr. Koontz.  Please plan to attend. 

High school students – It is time for our annual Crock Pot cook-off. It will be held on April 13th! Your teachers have all of the information. Let’s make this the best Crock Pot cook-off ever!!

Any Jr. or Sr. interested in making a little extra money. Latchkey is looking for help in the afternoon from 3:00 – 5:00 pm If interested please see Rhonda Longstreth. 

Seniors there are MANY scholarship due this week.  You don’t win if you don’t apply. 

Book Club will meet this Thursday due the crock pot challenge. 

Olivia Gorman and Caden Ringwald will play in the 5th Annual Parkview All-Star Basketball Classic on Sunday, April 15 at Antwerp High School. The two will play on an Ohio team made up of players from Antwerp, Paulding, Wayne Trace, Van Wert, Crestview, Hicksville, Delphos Jefferson, and Edgerton against Indiana teams. The girls game will start at 4:00 and the boys game will start at 5:30. Admission is $5 at the door.

April 11, 2018 – The Lincolnview Junior High softball team traveled to Lela McGuire Jeffery Park in Paulding last night to take on the Panthers!  Lincolnview won the match-up 13-5!  Hits by Andi Webb, Kendall Bollenbacher, Zadria King, and Courtney Minyoung helped boost the team, including two triples by Bollenbacher.  The winning pitcher was Heather Beair with 6 strike outs.  The Junior High softball team’s record is now 2-0!  They play again on Saturday in a double header at home against St. Mary’s beginning at noon.  Go Lancers! 

Junior high gets a 28-0 five inning win over Crestview 7th grade. Landon Price was 3/4 at the plate with 3 RBI. Cole Binkley, Carson Fox, Evan Miller, and Dane Ebel all with two hits. Dane Ebel gets the win on the mound going 3IP 7K's and 0 ER. Lancers host VW 7th grade on Thursday.

There will be an informational meeting for students interested in attending a service academy on Monday, April 9th.  It is with Robert Latta at St. Johns Jesuit HS in Toledo.  See Mrs. Leeth for more information. 

Northwest State Community college will be here on April the 10th to register students for classes for the fall.  Students who qualified will need to bring your paperwork you receive in the mail with you to this scheduling meeting.  If you plan NOT to participate in college credit plus, please let Mrs. Leeth know. 

Seniors, if you want any of your senior sport banners, you can still purchase them.  It is $30 payable to the athletic boosters.  You can turn it in to Mrs. Leeth. 

TODAY at JH and HS Lancer Time, Mrs. Leeth will be meeting with all of the students who took the ACCUPLACER test.  Please plan accordingly. 

The Van Wert Sister City Cultural Exchange Program will be holding a meeting on April 8th in the NPAC Lecture Hall.  This meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be solely for the purpose of educating and answering all questions that anybody has in regards to this program.  There will be discussion about the Japanese delegation that will be visiting the summer of 2018.  We will also field any and all questions pertaining to the delegation that will be sent from Van Wert to Japan the summer of 2019.  If you have questions or interest in this program, please attend this meeting.  Applications will also be available during this event. 

There will be a Spanish Club meeting on Wednesday for all members.  Location of the meeting is to be announced.

All College Credit Plus Spring Sport athletes need to share your College Grades with Mrs. Leeth. Please do so before Wednesday.

Seniors:  Many scholarships are due during break.  They must be turned in PRIOR to break. They will NOT be accepted late.  Plan accordingly.  Make sure you are checking deadlines regularly, especially if you are NOT on the Remind account.  Don’t miss out on free money. 

Spanish Club members who want to go on the field trip may pick up a permission slip from a folder outside of Mrs. Doner's  room.  There is also a list of Spanish Club members posted outside of her door.  Space is limited, so be one of the first to get your permission slip to Mrs. Doner before class or Lancer Time only.  Mrs. Doner will not accept a permission slip if her class is interrupted. 

There will be a Jr. Class meeting this Monday, March 26th for only members of the Jr. Class who created the Prom theme.  The meeting will be held in the Lecture Hall. 

Niswonger Performing Arts Center, with the help of an anonymous donation, are providing free tickets to students to hear Theresa Flores speak about human trafficking. She is a survivor of human trafficking and author about her experiences. The event is Tuesday March 27 beginning at 7PM.
