SEE YOU AT THE POLE day is THIS Wednesday, September 28th , at 7:20 a.m. All around the globe, in every time zone, students will be gathering at their flagpoles, praying for their school, friends, families, churches, and communities. SEE YOU AT THE POLE is sponsored by the Lancer FCA and is student led. Feel free to join us on Wednesday morning at 7:20 am at the flagpole. Students, faculty, and community members are all invited.
IT'S GO TIME for the United Way food Drive. On Friday, the United Way will be here to pick up all of our items. Let's Bridge the Gap to End Hunger and fill their truck. Bring in your non-perishable food items and toiletries to help bridge the gap. The lancer time jh and hs class bringing in the highest percentage of food will win a pizza party from Mr. Menhenall. The highest lancer time class 7-12 will get ice cream and t-shirts from the united way. One teacher in the district will win a spa package. If you Lancer Time teacher seems a little tense, this is one way you can help them to relax! Let's show the county the Lancer Way.
Please remember, I need you to count your total items for your Lancer Time Class. I will need you to send me a count on Friday please. I will not be here on Friday, so please remember to send me your count.
If you did not buy a 2016 Yearbook you can still purchase one for $50. See Mrs. Ringwald to get yours now while supplies last. The Jr High yearbooks have not arrived. We will let you know when they come in.
Any freshman with a petition who is running for class officer please have it returned to Mr. Losh by Tues. Sept. 27.
There will be a National Honor Society meeting Friday, September 30th during Lancer Time. All current members should report to the lecture hall for an organizational meeting.
There will be a Junior class meeting in the lecture hall today, Tuesday, September 27th at 2:50 pm. Items to be discussed will be class officers and prom ideas.
Today,Tuesday Northwest State Community College will be here. They will be talking about their new Transfer Module that we will be offering next year in Van Wert that will allow students to complete 32 credit hours of general education classes right in Van Wert. These classes are guaranteed to transfer to any public 2 or 4 year college in Ohio. Most private colleges, and out of state schools will also accept them. So if you are looking to save a little money and stay at home the first two years, you should check this out. If you did not sign up yet, do so by third period today.

There is a sign-up sheet in the office for all junior high and high school students interested in wrestling this year. Please sign up by Thursday, September 29.
College Night will be held on Wed. Oct. 5th at Vantage Career Center. The fair runs from 6:30-8:00. You may come and go as you please. It's a great opportunity to talk to over 45 colleges, universities and military personnel.
Anyone wishing to be an officer for Spanish Club must let Mrs. Doner know by the end of today. If you signed up for Spanish Club, please pay your dollar by Thursday this week. Students who pay a dollar to join will be eligible to participate on a possible future field trip.

Lincolnview Varsity Volleyball lost to Delphos St. John's, 0-3. Varsity is now 7-6 and 3-1 in the NWC. JV also lost 1-2. Lincolnview will play NWC rival, Crestview High School, Tuesday evening starting at 5:30 at Crestview.
