Congratulations to  Sarah Riley for placing 3rd with her oil pastel Peacock artwork at the Van Wert Festival of the Arts where schools from around the county displayed student works.  Great Job Sarah!

Several Lincolnview High School Choir members participated in the District III OMEA Solo and Ensemble event at St' Mary's Memorial High School on February 22, 2014.  All of the choir participants earned superior or excellent ratings.  The following students earned a superior rating for a solo: Chance Burnett Class A, Braxton Matthews class A, Katlyn Wendel class B, Hunter Bugh Class C,  Draya Rison class C, and Skyler Whitaker Class C.  Kayla Hertel earned an excellent rating in class A.
The mixed choir ensemble earned a superior rating and consisted of the following members: Catlyn Richey, Makenzie Kraft, Kayla Hertel, Morgan Dougal, Elizabeth Lammers, Kaytlynn Gellenbeck, Elizabeth Morgan, Troy Thompson, Braxton Matthews, Nick Motycka, Dalton Hines, and Chance Burnett.
Earning a superior rating was a women's ensemble singing "The Violet": Hunter Bugh, Zania Hasty, Angel Proctor, Kayla Hertel, Claira Rhoades, Tiffiny West, and Katlyn Wendel.
Earning an excellent rating was another women's ensemble singing "In Time of Silver Rain": Mackenzie Kraft, Catlyn Richey, Elizabeth Lammers, Morgan Dougal, and Elizabeth Morgan.
Our Lincolnview men's ensemble earned a superior rating with "Bound For Jubilee": Braxton Matthews, Skyler Whitaker, Taite McKinney, and Chance Burnett.

Four Lincolnview Junior High Choir members, Miah Katalenas, Lainie Jones, Noah Daeger, and Luke Bullinger, were selected to sing in the 13th Annual District III OMEA Junior High Honors Concert. The concert was held at the Wapakoneta City Schools Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 8.  The 75 member choir was comprised of students from the surrounding eight counties.  Guest conductor, Dr. Sandra Stegman, Associate Professor of Music Education at Bowling Green State University selected the following songs for the performance: Gloria Deo, Song from the Twelfth Night, Riversong, This Train, Yonder Come Day, and Elijah Rock.
