All seniors participating in track & field this spring, there will be a brief meeting Tuesday in the lecture hall during Lancer Time.

High School students, the form that Mrs. Leeth share with you is now working, please take 30 seconds to fill out the google form.

7th Grade boys, it's your turn. Blue will be starting for  you on Thursday, Jan. 29th. All 7th grade boys will attend on this day to learn about Blue.

·     There will be a Veterinary Exploration Conference and College Fair on February 21 at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus. If you are interested in careers dealing with veterinary medicine you should plan to attend. See the flyer in the display case in the hallway for more information on how to register. 

·     Any senior whose parent is a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau, please see Mrs. Seibert or Mrs. Leeth for scholarship information. 

All senior athletes will meet with Mr. Bryan in the Lecture Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 28th, during Lancer Time.

·     Junior Boys, the Buckeye Boys State application is due to Mrs. Leeth by January 15th.

·     Mrs. Leeth is sharing a google form with all HS students.  Please take a moment today to answer the brief survey. 

Beta Club members would you like to help with the elementary blood drive on Thursday, January 22?  If so, sign up on Mrs. Leeth's door by Tuesday.  They need helpers from 1:00-6:00 pm.  You can sign up for the amount of time you would like to work.  If you are working during school, you must get it approved FIRST by your teachers.  

Attention Northwest State Students.  You only have until Friday to drop a course.  See Mrs. Leeth by Friday if you plan to drop a course.  You must have a plan of action to replace a course.
 

Winter Athletes, if you did not get booster club laundry detergent forms, please pick some up in the office. 

The Jr High & HS. wrestlers had a tri-meet last night at home against Cory Rawson & Bluffton. Dillion Ellerbrock went 0-2, Brendan Hanf went 2-0, Dennis Clay went 2-0, & Grant Slusher went 1-0. The Jr High beat Cory Rawson in the team dual. Luke Bollinger went 0-2, Alex Rodriguez went 2-0, Jacob Gibbson went 2-0, Jayden Dickson went 2-0. Congratulations guys!   

ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: 

Today and tomorrow, High School Students will all be eating the same lunch period.  Juniors and Seniors, once you receive your lunch tray report to the gymnasium for lunch.  While in the gym, you may use the 2 sets of bleacher end seating or tables that will be set up in the cafeteria.  Throw away all food when you return your tray to the cafeteria.  Freshman and sophomores will remain in the cafeteria for lunch time.  

There is a minor change in the Junior High Schedule for tomorrow.  Please see your teachers for the change! 

The AR reward for 2nd quarter (ice cream at lunch) has been moved to Tuesday, Jan. 2oth. 

ATTENTION STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS: Fundraiser money and unsold cards need to be turned in to Mrs. Knodell by Tuesday, Jan. 20th

Congratulations to Brooke Lehman for winning the FAN t-shirt design contest. Brooke’s design will be showcased on all of the shirts at the basketball game on Farmer Appreciation Night on January 30th. 

Seventh Grade Spelling Bee - It’s time to find out who will represent Lincolnview at the Van Wert County Spelling Bee! If you are interested in competing, come to Mrs. Dowdy’s room during Lancer Time on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday this week. Today information about the spelling bee will be provided. On Thursday and Friday our own spelling bee will be held to determine the seventh grade representative. Lists of practice words can be found at www.myspellit.comGOOD LUCK to all!! 

Baseball Workout - The next winter workout for baseball will be on Wednesday the 7th after school. Please meet by the weight room. 

The February ACT Test Deadline is January 9th. 

The Agents of Change would like to start our own physical chain of kindness.  If you see someone completing a random act of kindness in the high school, please stop in the office and pick up a chain link.  Write what you saw happening on the link and drop it in the box.  Thanks for your help.  It takes all of us to make a change.

The Buckeye Y Youth is once again in need of student volunteers for their Martin Luther King Jr. Fun day on Monday, January 19, 2015. The hours will run from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm, with swimming from 12:00 t0 2:00pm. This will be at the YWCA. Students can volunteer to help with children 5 to 12 years old in any increments they choose, all day, half a day, 2 hours etc. We will need some to go in the pool with the children to help supervise. 

 “Attention Junior High Students: FCA will be starting this Friday, January 9th, during your lunch time! Grab your lunch and a friend and head down to Mrs. Dowdy’s room to meet your new leader, a high school student!” 

Junior Class Prom work night is WEDNESDAY 6:30-8:30.  All are welcome.
