During the month of April, all Junior High and High School Lancer Times will have a quart jar located in their room. The Salvation Army has asked all area schools to participate in the fund raiser by filling the jar with loose change. All money collected will go to the Salvation Army Capital Campaign. Let’s help out the Salvation Army the Lancer Way by filling all of our Jars! Mr. Mendenhall will buy a pizza and pop party for the Junior High and High School Lancer Time that raises the most money. The last date of competition will be April 30. Throughout the month, there will be announcements giving you more information about the Salvation Army and some of the services they provide for our community.

Lincolnview Theatre will be presenting Tarzan, the Musical on April 16, 18, and 19. Get your tickets now before they are gone. Ticket are $6.00 for students and $8.00 for adults. Ticket order forms will be available in the cafeteria at lunch time this week. 

Beta Club members, the Middle Point Lions Club needs some help for their Chicken Dinner on April 26th.  They need help serving and clearing tables.  If interested please sign up on Mrs. Leeth's door.  You need to arrive at 10:30.

Juniors and Seniors: Are you planning to ask a special someone to prom also known as a promposal? The yearbook would like to capture the moment for pages in the yearbook. Please let Brooke Thatcher know or any yearbook staff member ahead of time so we may arrange for a photo.  

Northwest State Community College applications are due to the office by today.  They must be to NSCC by the 15th.   

Ohio Northern University Summer Academic and Honors Institute  If you have been identified as gifted and will be in grades 9-12 next year, you are eligible to attend this prestigious camp.  Two different weeks.  June 14-19 or June 21-26.  From forensic science, pharmacy, biochemistry to engineering.....many others to pick from.  Pick up a brochure from Randi in the HS office if interested.  DEADLINE:  May 6  Cost $475.  

All juniors need to pay their $10 class dues to the HS office by April 30th in order to have Friday, May 1st off to work on prom. Prom work sessions continue to be on Mondays 5:30 – 8, Wednesdays 3:30 – 5:30 and Sundays 4-6. 

ALL PROM GOERS…..please sign up in the HS office with your full name and your dates full name.  All non-Lincolnview students must have a permission form turned in to attend by  April 30th! 

Prom picture forms are in the office.  All pictures will be available to view through the school website following prom. 

The yearbook will have their final yearbook sales starting Monday, April 13th until Friday. April 24th. The cost for high school book is $45.00 and junior high book is $15.00. Books will be sold in the mornings in the front lobby, or see a yearbook staff member or Mrs. Ringwald to purchase a book. Books can also be purchased online at yearbookordercenter.com. This will be the last chance to order a 2014-2015 yearbook, so don’t miss out! 

Any girl interested in playing soccer in the fall and has not signed up make sure to sign up in the high school office this week.

The High School skyway has been rescheduled for April 28. We will be going from 5th period – 7th period (about 2:45). If you have NOT turned in your permission slip and money, please turn these

Students that have applied to Northwest State you will be receiving a letter in the mail with a lot of important information.  Please keep that information in a safe place.  For those of you planning to take an online class, please follow the directions in the letter on how to complete a tutorial course on taking online classes.  You must complete this before you will be allowed to take an online class.  Also, it mentions registering online.  Mrs. Leeth will meet with all NSCC student upon her return to have you fill out the registration forms.  Also, for those students needing to take the Compass test, we will me testing here at Lincolnview on May 15th.  If you have questions, you can email Mrs. Leeth and she will respond to you through email. 

Jr. Rotarians, the rotary scholarship is due to Randi by Friday.  All Jr. Rotarians should fill this out, one Lincolnview student will win.  If you need it sent to you again, you can email Mrs. Leeth and she can share it again with you.

CONGRATULATIONS to Braden Thatcher for qualifying for the state FFA talent show!  He will be representing Lincolnview as he performs and competes at State Convention.  Good luck Braden!

NHS And Beta Club here is another chance for you to get service hours.  The PTO Carnival will take place on April the 10th.  They will need workers from 4:00-7:00.  Sign up on Mrs. Leeth's door if you are interested.  On the night of the carnival report to the prize table and they will tell you where to go.

Starting today April 7th we will be holding open gyms for all high school or 8th grade boys interested in playing soccer in the upcoming 2015 season.  We we be playing in the Elementary gym from 3:30 to 5 every Tuesday. Also, brings your cleats in case the weather is nice enough to go outside.

The junior high baseball team traveled to Parkway last night and came away with a 3-0 shutout win. Jaden Youtsey got the win allowing only one hit while striking out three. Ethan Kemler pitched three innings in relief striking out three while allowing zero runs.  Leading hitters for the Lancers were Brayden Evans 1 for 3 with two rbi, and Brad Korte 1 for 2 with an rbi. 

Mr. Aaron Anspach from AFLAC insurance will be here today stationed in the "Lecture Hall" to see anyone during their conference period regarding supplemental insurance.  He will begin at 8am this morning and work until about 3:30pm.  Please stop in if you are interested in his products or would like to purchase additional insurance.
