March 12 was a busy day at Lincolnview High School.  The day was focused on careers, community service and testing- much of which happened outside the walls of our school.  The freshman class was divided into three groups making stops at Van Wert County Courts, Cool Machines, and Central Insurance.  The Sophomore class began the day taking the PRE ACT test, then touring National Door and Trim, Braun Industries, and Tecumseh.  The Junior Class took the ACT in the morning, then toured Federal Mogul and VanCrest Van Wert in the afternoon. The Senior class had several options; consisting of community service projects, college visits, or career shadowing.  Forty two students and ten teachers spent the day improving our local community.  Time was spent volunteering for the Lincolnview Bible Board, West Ohio Food Bank, Van Wert County Fairgrounds, Van Wert Manor, Humane Society, Willow Bend, Marsh Foundation, and Van Wert Parks Department.
